These parts use hydraulic pressure to adjust your tappet clearance in the engine, no need for manual tappet clearances! These are a common issue for the Toyota 2GR engine as sometimes the internals to the hydraulic tappet fail and they no longer hold the oil pressure and therefore no longer hold the correct clearance. If you have a noisy cylinder head there is a high chance one, or several of these have failed.
You will need 24 of these for a complete engine set. Sold individually.
